For a perfect day tour from Sydney travel on the Wine Xpress departing Sydney at at 8:30am daily, direct to the Gardens, returning at 7:15pm.
Over 25 hectares of spectacular display gardens that will amaze you with sensational sights, colours and fragrances. Hunter Valley Gardens also features accommodation including Tallawanta Lodge, Harrigan's Irish Pub and Grapeview Villas. Experience a taste of Roche Wines or over 180 boutique and imported beers at Harrigan's Cellars.
Explore feature gardens such as the Oriental Garden, Sunken Garden, Rose Garden, European Formal Garden and many more. All designed with breathtaking impact, unlike anything else in the Southern Hemisphere. There are beautiful features like the Italian Grotto, ponds, lakes and cascading waterfalls to cross, all surrounded by inspirational trees, plants and shrubs including over 35,000 roses.
You can also wander The Shopping Village, a variety of boutique speciality shops in an enchanting setting also surrounded by wonderful gardens. There's Aqua Golf and Mini Putt-Putt, a great picnic area and fully enclosed children's playground. Enjoy the shopping, go wine tasting in the underground cellar, enjoy the gourmet food and coffee shops, wander next door and visit McGuigan Wines and the Hunter Valley Cheese Factory.
