Smooth, warming Shiraz, crisp Semillon and cool blues will ensure all senses are heightened at Bimbadgen Blues, the annual Blues and Roots festival held in the Hunter Valley. Two stages will showcase Australia's best Blues and Roots while revellers enjoy delectable nibbles and award-winning wines throughout the day.
Now in its 9th year, Bimbadgen Blues is stamping its mark on the Australian event scene with 4,000 people expected to attend the six-hour festival. Held at the picturesque Bimbadgen Estate, Bimbadgen Blues features headline acts Josh Pyke, Chain, Dallas Frasca and Her Gentleman, Mojo Webb, Paul Greene, Johnny Green's Blues Cowboys, Marshall and the Fro and Christina Crofts..
Food
The Estate's prized restaurant, Esca Bimbadgen, will specially prepare gourmet hampers for two which can be pre-ordered and picked up on the day. Esca's delicious fare will also be available on-site.
Wine
Bimbadgen Estate's range of fine wines will be available for purchase throughout the day. Beer, soft drink, water and coffee will also be available. Please note there is no BYO alcohol.
Essentials
As this is an outdoor picnic style event, no marquees or large tents are allowed, but feel free to bring a blanket or deck chair (available for hire), hat and sunscreen to suit the weather. The concert will proceed as scheduled in inclement weather, except if conditions become extreme. Come prepared for the conditions on the day.

Buy your own CityRail ticket on the normal 8:15am Service from Central Station to Morisset. At 10:30am we'll meet you at Morisset Station and take you through to spend the day at Jazz in the Vines. We'll have you back in Morisset in time for the return service to Sydney, arriving at 8:09pm.
